This thesis discusses the current states and the problems of the transformer condition monitoring and diagnosis fault. With the application of DGA the estimation of the fault of transformer is a kind of potential fault analysis at the beginning. PD signal monitoring can monitor the discharging signal but can't be carried out easily and diagnosed the type and degree of faults for the constant influence of circumstance. So a method that combines the oil-gas and electric quantities to monitor the transformer is presented. Using on-line monitoring of oil-gas the fault type is confirmed. The fault can be notarized and located with on-line electric quantities. With LabVIEW a fault diagnosis system and corresponding diagnosis flow are proposed. Finally a project of data acquisition is put forward .The thesis consists of the following parts:1. The system of oil-gas data processing is presented with LabVIEW after analyzing the current states of transformer monitoring base on DGA.2. Search the states of partial discharge on-line monitoring in power transformer. The system of digital filter on partial discharge is proposed with the adoption of different digital signal processing technique for suppressing different interference and picking up the PD signal.3. With the electric quantities of transformer its windings parameters can be on-line estimated and judge whether occurring fault on windings and the degree of faults can be judged. Then an effective condition monitoring quantity is provided so that the accuracy of diagnosing the transformer fault will be enhanced.
