Since equipments of substation are too old, they had damaged on operation and security of coal mine. So the thesis of technique innovation of 35kV substation is proposed. The work will be fulfilled on primary equipment and secondary system.Among primary equipment, the circuit breaker is chose as the model 40.5kV SF6 outdoors. 6kV circuit breaker maintains vacuum model. As the measurement for 35kV, the current transformer is kept. The maximum shot circuit of 35kV equipments and 6kV system is calculated. Transformer is chose and checked, which agrees well with the requirement of action-thermal stability. According to the requirement of main wire connection, the secondary part is designed as substation automation. The system uses method of unit concentrated and distributed installation. The integrated protection units of 35kV parts and transformer are installed on GGD, and ones of 6kV are distributed on every switchgear cubicle.Design principle and basic function are also discussed. The alternating current signal, which is transformed from voltage and current transformer of equipments, is sampled and calculated by arithmetic in software. Those are measured and calculated by computer such as voltage, current, frequency, active power, reactive power and power factor. The errorless of three-phase voltage and current is less than 0.5 percent. Except for computer control technique used in monitoring and protection, its communication technique is also applied in innovation. Power supply of innovated substation is secure, reliable and economical, which performs automation control and meets the requirement of self-service for substation.
