Entering the 21 st century,social economy is developing rapidly,the national economy and the people's living standard have greatly improved.Enterprises and people have also put forward higher requirements for power quality and power service.In recent years,computer technology,network communication technology and automation technology have developed rapidly,providing reliable technical support for automation and intelligence of power system.Using mature computer technology,information and signal processing technology,the primary and secondary equipment of the substation are designed through system combination configuration to realize dynamic monitoring,data measurement,automatic control and protection of the main equipment and transmission and distribution lines of the whole station,and simultaneously have synchronous data transmission and remote automatic operation with the dispatching communication system.The automation system not only ensures the safe and stable operation of the power grid,improves the power quality and high-quality service,but also reduces the power grid loss and labor operation and maintenance costs.220kV substation is the voltage level substation mainly used in our country at present,and it is the junction substation in most areas.Therefore,the feasibility study on the comprehensive renovation project of the old 220 kV substation has high practicability and representativeness.The comprehensive renovation project of the old 220 kV substation is generally complicated in site conditions,large in investment and long in construction Period,so the preliminary feasibility study is particularly important.Based on the scientific analysis and judgment combined with the actual situation of the substation,this paper comprehensively introduces the feasibility study process of substation transformation technology scheme and equipment selection.This paper describes the development of automation system at home and abroad,introduces the basic situation of 220 kV Yuanbaoshan substation,describes the high-type layout of substation,primary equipment problems,secondary equipment problems and infrastructure problems,focuses on the analysis of the current operation status and existing defects of substation,and puts forward two feasible technical schemes.From three aspects of safety,efficiency and life cycle cost of equipment,the technical scheme of comprehensive transformation of substation is compared and selected,and then theoptimum transformation scheme is determined.Through discussing the economy and financial compliance,construction arrangement and cost analysis of substation comprehensive transformation project,the feasibility of project transformation is further verified,and the design scheme of 220 kV Yuanbaoshan substation comprehensive transformation project is finally determined.
