Research And Implementation Of Railway Safety Management Information System Based On Workflow Technology

Workflow technology is a key technology to business process modeling, emulating, optimizing, and finally realize business process automation. The research and application of workflow technology are of great significance to enterprise informatization.With the reform and development of the railway system, the demand of the safety supervision department of the Railways Bureau to realize railway safety information standardize and informative management is much more imminent. In this paper, to meet the actual demand from Shanghai Railway Bureau safety supervision department, the safety management information system based on workflow is designed and realized. In this system, operation process is demonstrated by flow model, then the implementation of the system is in line with the flow model, Thus it will automatically collect, report and dispose the railway safety information. Consequently the management of the railway safety information will be enhanced.Firstly, the correlative concepts of workflow are expounded, the current situation and development trend of workflow are analyzed and combined in the context of the project, the significance of workflow application in the system is explained. Then ,after the main workflow modeling methods are discussed, based on "Activity Network" the workflow model of operation of railway safety management information system is built, and the xpdl description of the model is given; combining the implement algorithm of workflow instance, taking "duty management" as an instance, the implement process of workflow instance is explained. At last according to the actually demand of the Shanghai Railway Bureau, the safety management information system which is B/S structure combined C/S structure based on workflow is designed and realized.
