For the rapid and steady development of our electric power industry, nearly many 600MW large firepower units are being built in our country. For the need of training skillful operator and to meet the improving requirement of performance analysis and fault diagnosis, more and more simulator will be produced.Based on the advanced simulation system APROS, the models of all sub-systems of boiler-island for YANGZHOU NO.2 POWER PLANT were developed. Referring to some documents such as boiler running rules, PI&D graphs, power plant system drawings and boiler framework, the boiler system were divided into several sub-systems according to the running characteristic. The drum wall temperature can not be calculated in APROS software, so the model was deduced by analysis the mechanism. And then they are transformed into APROS external models, which is linked with the flow network and other modules of APROS.The boiler model was debugged according to the current operational parameters of power plant. The simulation results of the boiler system running under full load, start up, dynamic test and some malfunction, the most parameters and dynamic curve met the precision requirement and the actual operating status.The simulation function and excellent arithmetic of APROS gave the possibility of real time simulation. With the simulation model of the turbine-island and generator-island, the boiler-island can compose the all-range simulator, which will be used for economy analysis and fault diagnose.
