Nowadays, the embedded system is developing constantly as is being used in every aspect of industries and lives. The widely use of airless digital communication, ARM technology, automation technology and network makes the possible achievement of digital, modularize and real time program control system.The use of large road maintenance machine is the sign of the modernization, specialization and mechanization achievement of rail project. As the increasing speed of the train, the railway maintenance has become more and more important and also the road maintenance machine should be speediness, high effect and accurately. One of the most important large road maintenance machines, the leveling-lifting-lining-tamping machine also faces a big challenge.According to the current situation of domestic large road maintenance machine, this paper tries to apply embedded system as the control system in the leveling-lifting-lining-tamping machine and follows the feasibility principle. Further more designs the hardware system, software system and interface. Before the designing, it consults a lot of relate datum, compares and demonstrates many different projects, then confirms the system structure in the end.This paper chooses sansung S3C44B0X chip (low consume, ARM7TDMI kernel) as the program control system microprocessor, and expands the function, such as designing network interface, electrical source module, storage and other function parts. About software, this paper chooses real time operating systemμC/OS-II and network protocol shed lwIP. Based on the control driver program,μC/OS-Ⅱ, friendly UI and FLASH file system, this paper also imports GSM-R to expand ground control system.At last, summarize the paper work and some suggestions are posed for future research.
