Karst collapse is a familiar one of environmental geo-hazards in karst area, which will make the environment worsening and take harm to the railway building and safety. So, for the railway route selection in karst area, it is important to optimize the railway route on the basie of the credible evaluation of karst collapse. For the existing models and methods, there have been some fruits in practice but exist the problem of karst collapse information's insufficiency. Because of neglecting the interactional relation between the insufficiency and evaluation, it is limitation for the existing models and methods. Grey fuzzy model use grey-fuzzy aggregate as theory basise. In the model , we use grey scale and fuzzy relation to describe information's insufficiency and the relation between influencing factors and karst collapse stability. Firstly, on the basis of previous studies, the karst collapse's formation condition, development laws and mechanism of action are analysed systematically and roundly. And accordingly the influencing factors are determined. At the same time, the existing models and methods are compared and evaluated, the theory of gray fuzzy synthetic evaluation is expounded. Secondly, on the basis of researching the gray fuzzy synthetic evaluation model and date of Gui southwest's karst area, the karst collapse's gray fuzzy synthetic evaluation model is established, and logical grading standards of karst collapse's influencing factors is constituted. Finally, use the new railway Tiandong to Debao as a example, the karst collapse's gray fuzzy synthetic evaluation model of this railway route is established, the karst collapse condition is synthetically evaluated, and according to the result the railway route scheme is appraised.
