An Application Of Semantic Analysis Of Adverb Of Natural Language Understanding In Product Design

Semantic Analysis has played such an important role in Natural language understanding. This paper introduces that Semantic Analysis of the adverb is applied to the product design Through understanding and analyzing the user's needs expressed in the form of natural language and transforming analysis result concept designing requirement ,subsequent design is supported.First of all, according to the characteristic of the domestic and international natural language comprehension in the designing field , the method based on knowledge should be adopted in Natural language understanding which is applied to product design. The system of knowledge express and description in semantic analysis was built according to the reasonable thought of the theory of Case Grammar and Conceptual dependency, A related discussion about the concept and the property of the adverb in Chinese was made and the standpoint was put forward that the semantic analyse of the adverb can been done with the semantic basic unit according to the function of the common adverd in realm. And the semantic understanding of the scope adverb in Chinese is carried out with the related rules which are programed according to the adverbial function. Disposal of other adverbs is only discussed.Finally, a prototype system of computer aided mechanical product analysis was built, which was applied to the analysis of requirements of bearing structure designing, and it runs well after debuging.
