Nouns Phrase Of Modification-Center Structure In Natural Language Understanding And Its Application In Product Designing

This paper makes a preliminary discussion on the application of natural language understanding in product design. The noun phrase of modification-center structure subordinate to users'requirements, which is expressed in natural language style, is understood and analyzed. With the whole system running, the core information in the requirement is collected and the purpose of the design is clear, which are conversed into the demand of conceptual design.Firstly, the methods based on knowledge which should be adopted in the natural language are determined, additionally conception dependency theory is chosen as an important complementarity to the method. Secondly, the construction of noun conception dependency tree is constructed, the noun phrase which is of modification-center structure in simple sentence is understood by analysis of the relation between the attribute and the qualified word in the noun phrase. Thirdly, according to the research of the assignable possessive relationship and assignable event, the application of semantic relationship in noun phrase of modification-center structure to text is discussed, the algorithm of pronoun ambiguity solution in this phrase is eliminated. Lastly semantic analysis of natural language understanding is applied to requirement analysis archetypal system for the design of gear mechanism. The noun phrase of modification-center structure in user requirements is understood and analyzed. With other models running, the system runs well.
