Hydropower Station are now facing the energy guidelines checking since it has came into operation for many years.In this paper,considering the actual conditions of Ankang hydropower's river basin changes,taking Ankang hydropower as researched object,the effect on the energy guidelines was analysed by changes of hydropower station's characteristic values,energy guidilines were checked by using new data,and classical dynamic programming was applied to build Ankang optimization scheduling model, introducing inflow exceed probability in the optimization course of single reservoir operation, data mining algorithm was adopted to extract reservoir operation rules.The main research contents and results are as follows:(1) The energy guidelines model was built for Ankang hydropower to know the influence on the energy guidelines by changes of hydropower station's characteristic values by qantitative analysis .On the principle of hydropower station optimal operation, the energy guidelines were checked by old and new data.(2) A comparison of reservoir operation reservoir algorithms was discussed, then maximizing the power generation as the objective function based on dynamic programming, calculating energy output under restrictions at different time and building an optimization sequence , the result of lasting series optimal operation results were obtained at last.(3)There were many calculating methods on dispatching rules for single hydropower station, On the basis of the routine operation chart of hydropower station, introducing inflow exceedance probability into the dispatching rules study, it will provide a new thought foroptimization operation chart and will be advantaged to solve the deficiency of routine methods not considering the current period runoff.(4) From the results of lasting series optimal operation, the rules of reservoir operation were summed and dispatching functions were received every decade using stepwise regression and two variable linear regression.Case as Ankang hydropower, data mining was adopted into reservoir operation rules extraction. Generation reservoir operation rules were determined as several modes, so translating traditional reservoir operation rules extraction problem into data mining problem.Three characteristic attributes of operation period, inflow and reservoir storage were chosen to make basic dataset of data mining. Decision tree was adopted to calculation, and compared with operation chart and operation function results by linear regression. It shows that it is valid to adopt data mining extracting reservoir operation rules and it has higher exact efficiency.
