| The structural transition of the old industrial areas is a specific common problem in post-industrial era. There are some research outcomes about the spatial planning in this specific time. This thesis hopes to find some rules of spatial planning to meet the demands of structural transition. Around this topic, this thesis is divided into three parts, theoretical analysis, practical summary and case study, to inspect the spatial planning of the old industrial areas in transition, and based on this we propose the base of case study.On theoretical analysis, this thesis research the feature, reason, process and the end of structural transition, then about the important factors of spatial planning and their combinations. On case study, the thesis choose Ruhr area in Germany and Shenyang in China as two cases. During the practical summary, this thesis analyzes all these above, in particular about the experiences and lessons Shenyang could learn from it. |
