For recent years, there's a significant boost of the national civil aviation air traffic. Busy airports and terminal areas often suffer from air traffic congestion. In order to solve this problem this thesis focuses on the aircraft dynamic sequencing problem in terminal areas. Model and algorithm of this dynamic version based on fuzzy Petri net have been proposed and analyzed in detail.Considering the factors of influence flights and their destinations, on the basis of flight operating model and fuzzy control, the application of fuzzy Petri net on flight arrival sequencing is studied in detail about the terminal area. This algorithm simulates the process of air traffic controller decision and considers multi-factors influencing airplane, optimizes the system, to make the final process of approach smoothly and quickly.Through the simulation, we validate the practicability of this algorithm. Compared with FCFS algorithm and fuzzy control algorithm, the simulation proves that as a successful attempt to implement the air traffic management in the terminal area, and minimization of schedule delay. Proposing a good research thought to resolve the scientific optimizing sequencing problem on air traffic control system based on fuzzy Petri net sequencing algorithm.
