To study vehicle information system has an important effect on improving performance and security of vehicle, reducing pressure of drivers, so plays an important role in solving transportation problems. This paper is aimed at vehicle information system and ameliorates it. The system ameliorated has many functions, such as positioning, communication, collection of vehicle status, display of information and so on. Because of the using of advanced embedded system, the vehicle information system has powerful functions, low power, high reliability and etc.Many aspects are concerned in vehicle information system. This paper studies vehicle information system from some areas, such as positioning, communication and data collection of vehicle information system. The main tasks are as follows: the embedded system based on ARM9 processor and embedded Linux is designed as a control module to solve the weakness of traditional system in aspects of single function and low integration; the defects of traditional positioning and wireless communication are analyzed, then GPS and GPRS are adopted to solve them; CAN module is designed to collect the status information of the main part of vehicle, so the vehicle can diagnose electric faults by itself, and therefore has a higher security. LCD module is designed to display all information of vehicle, and it enrichs the interface between drivers and vehicles, so makes the vehicle information system much more intelligent.This paper studies vehicle information system around aspects mentioned above, completes the test in the library finally, and realizes base functions of system successfully. |
