Analysis and design of electrohydraulic servo system is becoming consta- nt issue faced by designer of production. It is very important to research and develop very efficient and applicable computer aided design software for desig- ner of electrohydraulic servo system to improve the level and efficiency of electrohydraulic servo system.On the basis of analysis of function requirement of current electrohydraul- ic servo-positional system design and adoption of OOP(Object-Oriented Progr- amming), the software uses Windows XP as its O.S. and Autodesk's Auto CAD 2004 and MathWork's Matlab6.5 as its basic softwares and develops electrohy- draulic servo-positional system CAD. The developed tool of Visual Basic 6.0 is used in this paper.The software includes five parts: the module of input and output; the module of static state calculation and components selection; the module of typical circuit of electrohydraulic servo-positional system; the module of analy- sis of dynamic characteristics for electrohydraulic position servo system; the module of interface. The paper introduces the principle of all modules and their realization.Several items of the key technology about electrohydraulic servo-position- al system CAD software are composing of hydraulic component parameter database and parametrization graphics class technology; 2Ddesign technology electrohydraulic servo-positional system schematic diagram and circuit analysi- s technology; the modeling and simulation technology electrohydraulic servo- positional system; the object-oriented and ActiveX automation technology, which Visual Basic uses this technology to control AutoCAD and Matlab.These technologys not only alleviate the labor of designer and boost efficiency andquality,but also accelerate the development of electrohydraulic servo-positional system to integration, standardization, popularization.Electrohydraulic servo-positional system CAD software configuration that is very applicable to the current and future development requirement. It is integrated with system schematic diagram, calculate parameter, select compon- ent,dynamic simulation.The software holds friendly user interface likeWindows. It is easy to use and learn.
