Working innovation:(1) The traditional method of designing cymometer is using the cell circuit or the technology of Single-chip Micro computer. The designed circuit is complicated and its stability is bad. Using the technology of EDA can overcome the shortcomings, it can download each module procedure which control the function on a chip. This chip can replace a lot of original unit circuit or the control chip of the one-chip computer and a large amount of peripheral circuit, greatly simplified the complexity of circuit structure, and raised the stability.(2) Measurement ranges of the past cymometer are all limited, and the signal for measures the different frequencies are all wanted certain part circuit of design specially, so it is very complicated and troublesome. We use EDA technology can come to achieve the purpose that changes the measurement range by the way of modifying program.Design method:Carries on the design with hardware description language VHDL to the cymometer system, this procedure translates the simulation after EDA on software platform Max+plusII, manufactures its hardware electric circuit board, again downloads the procedure to the CPLD module in realizes. In the specific language design procedure, first divides into the procedure five designs modules: The frequency division module, thecontrol module, count the module, the measuring range transformation module and the demonstration module, establishes the top layer document in this foundation, again carries on the translation, the simulation to the top layer document then. In the hardware design only needs downloading chip EPM7128S, surplus all inputs the output unit, actuates as well as the light emitter diode including the clock and the digital tube. Conclusion: Using EDA technology can solve the problem that has appeared in traditional design.
