The ruin of Yumenguan Great Wall in Han Dynasty is a very important part ofWorld Cultural Heritage——Great wall. It located in the deep of Gobi, Dunhang, Gansuprovince, China. It has been announced as the third batch of Key Cultural Relic Unit under State Protections by State Department in 1988.The research based on Yumenguan Great Wall ruins in Han Dynasty, It based on the analysis and collation of archaeological and historical documents.lt also visited the surrounding environment of Yumenguan Great Wall ruins in Han Dynasty for the detail study. The new judgement of history, scientific and artistic value of Yumenguan Great Wall ruins in Han Dynasty has been made. It identified the Yumenguan Great Wall ruins in Han Dynasty conservation planning objectives and principles.Key issues of protecetion has been discussed.Protection and conctruction area have been dertermined, and also the heritage and environmental protection measures. It made the plan of management, forms, methods and facilities of Han dynasty Great Wall in the future.This paper belongs to the heritage preservation planning study.
