When logistic analysis and facility layout research on manufacturing system are concerned, the traditional method primarily depends on the experience of professional staffs, which is lack of specific theory and technical guidance and support. The article uses industrial engineering (IE) technology and ideology to do logistic analysis with the approaches of process analysis, operation analysis and action analysis, in order to make sure that the input information of facility layout is on the base of fact and analysis optimization. Finally introduces a brand-new facility layout ideology and schema. The realation between Lean Production and logistic system, facility layout as well as IE is analyzed. Meanwhile, the IE field optimal management and contemporary IE ideology are utilized to design the facility layout scheme in order to help carry out the advanced manufacturing mode. The article also uses scientific logistic analysis technology to express clearly the relationship between logistic analysis and facility layout. At the same time, with the help of genetic algorithm and visual basic program language, the computer aided facility design software is developed to make the facility layout process and result more reasonable, scientific and efficient.
