Programmable Controller (PLC) is a kind of new-style industrial autocontrol device which is developed rapidly in recent years, taking microprocessor as its core, integrating computer technology, automation technology and communications technology. It is a kind of new production which uses computer technology to the industrial control field. With the progress of industrial control technology, PLC has been applied in the industrial control field of controlling producing process widely, that improved the degree of industrial automatization and producing efficiency hugely. It is named as one of the three mainstay of up-to-date industrial automatization with CAD/CAM and robot technology.In allusion to current status of mechanical and electric integration teaching of China and social need of PLC application, this paper construes the deficiency that cultivating students' ability of practice and innovation by the teaching and experimental system which is being used. Using the OMRON CPM2APLC and abundant resource of mechanical and electric equipment, this paper puts forward developing the teaching and experimental system based on OMRON Programmable Controller.For the sake of leting students have more all-around and profound understanding and pratice toward PLC control system, the experimental system mainly surround three directions in the process of design. They are as follows: 1. abundant and all-around experiments, they consist of examples of a majority of its applied field; 2. optimized experiments setup, there are not redundant types of experiments; 3. original module setup, it follows the trend of PLC, for example, the design of analog signals control and industrial communications network.The experimental system emphasizes on improving the students' ability, reserves enough evolution space for students, and has good exploiture flexibility and expansibility. The system can be divided into five modules, which are display module, movement control module, manipulator module, analog signals control and frequency conversion timing module and industrial communications network module. Students can not only practise the designed experiments in the modules, but also make innovative experiments based on their ideas, subsistent resource and interface in the modules.This paper designs the PLC teaching and experimental system by using modularization design idea which causes experimental device systematization and upgrading easily, implements its hardware and software design, constructes a communications network system...
