Once a warship is damaged, the completed anti-sinking assistant decision system will help to get the floating states and the damaged stability parameters, and optimum referenced operation are provided. It will be helpful for the commander to make a right decision as quickly as possible, and carry out effective measures in time to save the warship. Thus the vitality and the battle effectiveness of the warship will be recovered as much as possible. What is more, there is a deep gap between China and the other developed countries as for the anti-sinking assistant decision system. So research in this field which is the main content of this thesis is meaningful to the practical application.Traditional naval stability theory is mainly composed of deterministic damage method and probability damage method which are used in the design process. However, both of the two methods are only taking limited typical loading states into consideration. They are incapable of doing transient calculation of the floating and the stability at any loading state. Thus appropriate improvement is necessary to be done based on the traditional methods to make them be effectual to do the demanded real-time calculation. The main contents of the thesis are as followings:(1) Cabin elements, which are mainly made up of cabin geometrical data, are useful for real-time calculation of damage stability. A method to describe the cabin geometrical elements is defined in the thesis. In details, a set of close curves of the relative sections' area is used to describe the cabin's shape. Each curve is expressed by a series of dispersed points. At the same time, each curve also includes the information along ship's longitudinal direction. Then cabin geometrical elements will be described in three dimensions.(2) A parameter software to define cabin elements has been developed. For different ship types, such as oil ship and warship, data are input by different ways according to their own characters. It is aimed to obtain the cabin geometrical elements with the data input as less as possible.(3) In the research of real-time calculation method for damaged stability of warship, matrix method is used to calculate the freely floating state. As to the stability calculation of the damaged ships at freely longitudinal inclining state, the method is usually called minimum stability calculation. In this thesis, when the consumed power during the ship's incline...
