Reliability Analysis Of The Damaged Warship Structure

Since World War II, the highest incidence of failure modes of the structure of large ships is under load capsized ship in the overall perspective in the underwater explosion. This paper mainly concerns the reliability of large ship structure against the conventional weapons.When the torpedo hit the ship, it will cause damage of the Segment, which leads the overall probability of ship capsized vessels makes the ship's structural unstable damage. And then" search for the ship's structure damage failure mode, Consider its relevance, Apply the structure and system reliability principles calculation of reliability Ship. The main work contents of this paper are as follows:1. According to the damage characteristics of ship structure which attacked by the conventional weapons. From the whole ship capsized perspective, the application of relevant principles of probability theory to determine the relevant parameters are: a torpedo hit the ship's location, the size of the break, the number of damaged;2. According to the information, the statistics show the location and size of the break of the large floating structure after it was hit by a torpedo. We have got the probability density function by using the maximum entropy fitting statistical samples;3. Got the size of different break overturning probability of the different damaged location in a different time period according to the not sinking principles and criteria of the overturning of the ship;4. The ship can be looked as a cabin structure the system. According to the ship's structural unstable , any damage of segment may lead the ship capsized, then the Ship structural damage. Search for the main failure mode of ship's structure system, apply the PENT method to determine the structure of the ship failure probability;5. According to the above theory, we have processed the corresponding FORTRAN procedures. This process can calculate the reliability of the ship under the attack of conventional weapons.
