The selection for interface height of embankment and bridge for newly built railway, especially for high speed railway is the core issue of the research of using bridge instead of embankment . In recent years it has become one of the hot issues of railway management and design department. The main research objects of the thesis are the influence factors and selection principle of interface height of embankment and bridge. After analyzing various influence factors and comparing the technology and economy, the author have set up a model for selection of interface height based on gray systematic theory and then thoroughly discussed it, researched and developed the software system. All of the work may play a role of reference in some tend.Because of the following factors: the complexity of decision of interface height of embankment and bridge, the immaturity of the current research theory and the qualitative research method in this field, the thesis regards system engineering, gray theory, multiple objective decision, computer technology as the theoretical foundation. Based on the above-mentioned theory, the research tries to improve and develop the decision method of the interface height selection of embankment and bridge through the comprehensive analysis of qualitative and quantitative method. Finally, the selection principle of interface height of embankment and bridge is put forward, and a advanced and practical computer assistant decision system of the research is carried out, so as to make it more rational and more scientific for the interface height selection, and at the same time improve intellectual and integrated degree for its decision.
