With the improvement of control theory and electric technology, the intelligent controller for industry has been accomplishing. The digital controller based on single-chip computer has been applied widely, as its cabinet cubage,low-cost,abundant function, simple and convenient.PID temperature controller,as an importantc ontrold evice,have been widely used in producing chemical products, foods and many other fields.However, common PID temperature controller's PID parameters must be set by professional engineers, a ccording to theirs experiences. So, it is very inconvenient for the customers, who need to change PID parameters frequently,to use this kind of PID temperature controller and limited its application.This thesis aims at developing a high performance PID temperature controller,which can turn PID parameters automatically,to meet the requirements of this kind of devices in industrial control fields.The hardware and software of the Intelligent Temperature Control Meter and the design of relevant interface circuit are described in this paper.The reliability of the system is specially considered,and a series of measures are realized. According to the uncertainty and dificulty to control of the system,Methods of system control are analyzed. The control method of Fuzzy Self-tuning PID combining intelligent control arithmetic is used. And the PID parameters'auto-turning is actualized finally. Compareing the common PID, the Fuzzy Self-turning PID has lots of strongpoints such as the short adjust time, the smooth intergradation, and the well anti-interferenc.In this thesis,the PID auto-tuning algorighm is designed based on theoretical analysis and simulation. This method indicates a reasonable way for furtherre searches in this field.The design of this temperature controller's circuit and control program is valuable for others to develop the same kind of products.
