Abstract/Summary:
Been as an effective aged pavement maintenance method, hot in-place recycling (HIR) technology has shown prominent advantages. But the problem of immature technology has limited its extensive spread.Firstly, it is principle to determine aged asphalt binder's performance. Aiming at interference from mineral-filler and trichloroethane solvent, the extraction and recovery experiment in the specification is improved. And the commendatory method can measure the aged asphalt binder exactly.Understanding asphalt recycling mechanism and recycling law is help to develope HIR successfully. Through analysis of rejuvenation agent diffusion mechanism and correlative simulated experiments, several factors that influence recycling effect are analyzed and validated. Using traditional physical index, SHRP index and temperature sensitivity index, the recycling regularity by soft asphalt and special rejuvenation agent is explored. The HIR mix design method is based on Marshall test, combined with HIR practical engineering condition in Luo-zhu section of Jingzhu expressway, the HIR mix design method and step is illuminated detailed.Exploring the particularity and regularity of HIR technology can maximize its potential. Through mixture performance experiments and construction test, the following HIR technologies are discussed: heating, milling, aged-mixture proportion and temperature, the time of mixing, rejuvenating-agent mix-technology and moving speed of the HIR train. Finally, engineering applicability analysis, the detailed construction technology and quality manage system is introduced in the appendix.
