Along with the rapid expanding of motorization and the growing of population, many megapolis are facing the more and more acutely conflict between land resource and transportation, and the road congestion, the difficulty of parking, air pollution, noise pollution and so on. It is really a difficult task how to orient the relation between the land development and the city transportation, and make them progress together in harmony.Learned the lessons and experiences in the development of Foreign cities, especially in north America, the article first tried to study the procession of TOD's evolvement(Transit-Oriented Development)in different ages, expose the characteristics of TOD community differ from traditional community, analyze the affection factors to the parking demand of TOD community, and to conclude the parking management strategy we have applied in and out of our country. Based on all of what have mentioned before, some parking-demand management strategies which adapt to the characteristics of TOD community have been improved. After analyzed the differentias among all sorts of parking-demand forecast models, the article found the Shared-Parking Model and it's analysis method. Considering the feasibility of application, this article analyzed the development environment of TOD community in our country, and brought the parking-demand strategy fitting the situation of our country.Because of the lack of information with TOD in our country, the data and photos in the article was cited from success TOD projection in foreign country, mostly in America. And example of TOD parking-demand management in Hyattsville, Maryland in America was delivered.
