Research And Develop Of GIS-Based Urban Road Maintenance And Managemnt System Of Nanjing

With the rapid development of electronic information technology, computer hardware, software and the technology of geographic information system, a large number of callings are getting through the informational job. As a major part of urban transport, urban road need new requirement on the maintenance and management so that the GIS-Based urban road maintenance and management system has been widely developped and applied in many cities.As the advance of GIS technology, the integrality of its function and the intuitionistic and enrichment of the expression, the GIS technology becomes one of the main non-scarcity technology on construction of GIS-Based urban road maintenance and management system.In chapter 1, the author first presented the origin and evolution of the GIS technology and the development in and out of the country; meanwhile introduced the primary summary of management system and software project. After did some analysis basically on the management actuality of Nanjing urban road, the content and mode of its maintenance and management, the author did some theoretic research and discussion on maintenance and management of the urban road. By practical investment and thorough research, the author demonstrated the possibility of getting along the urban road maintenance and management by using GIS and data base technology.As a very important part of this paper, requirement analysis was particularly made in chapter 2. By using the means of software project, got the analysis table. As a basic part of the system, digital map and data was detailedly explained in chapter 3, meantime, the author did some research on the principle and achivement of dynamic segmentation technology of the thematic map.The system exploiture is also a major part of the paper, after the software demand explanation and the program module frame design, developped the system of Nanjing GIS-Based urban road maintenance and management. Also the usual application of the system was discussed in chapter 5. By using the practical example and adding a large account of data, tested the stability and the practicability of the system, the author did some research on the practicality of the system.Fianlly, the author concluded the main achievement of this thesis and meanwhile, pointed out the future works to be completed.
