Along with the widely application of modern power technology, power pollution becomes serious increasingly, more and more attentions of power departments and consumers are turned to the power quality. There is great practical significance to improve the power quality by monitoring and analyzing.In this thesis,based on the theory and technology of power quality,and according to the special demand that the system should support complicated algorithm and be real-time, the hardware and software of the DSP+ARM framework are designed.To begin with,the thesis summarizes the power quality standard and its research development. Then,the hardware structure and software design of the DSP+ARM frame are expatiated. For the real-timing need,the selection reasons,structure characters and applications are emphasized. After that,in the software scheme, the FFT arithmetic, the establishment of the opening up environment, the drive of the embedded system and design of the applied modules are introduced. Finally,summing up the central work and looking forward the research aspect.Comparing with existing designs, the proposed design can accord with the demands of the up-to-date requirement in power quality monitoring, and has advantages in performance, computation,volume and cost. So this equipment is suitable to be installed on site in large quantity.
