In the aerial defense weapon, the mission of the fire control system is to analyze the target's attributes such as position and speed, which are detected by the acquisition sensors, calculate the firing data, and control weapon to fire. The fire control system is very important to the weapon system since it may make the weapon become more powerful. The fire control computer is the key of the fire control system. The fire control Computer is very different from the normal computers. It is composed of position signal collecting card, firing data calculating card, control signal output card, etc. Therefore it's testing is very different from the testing of normal computers.The certain fire control system of antiaircraft artillery is a new type of ordnance, and there was no specialized testing system. The existing testing system cannot test all performances of this fire control system. So we design a new testing system for the fire control computer of this fire control system.The new testing system includes two parts——a detector and a central control computer. Once installed the central control program, any computer with USB connector can become the central control computer of the testing system. The two parts are connected by USB. During the testing, the central control computer, the detector and the fire control computer form a closed-loop system. The testing system can generate driving signal itself, acquire data in high speed concurrently, and complete the accurate testing calculation dynamically. The design of detector uses PC104 bus, which includes a USB-PC104 bus conversion bridge card and several SDC and DSC cards. The central control computer can control the detector through the USB-PC104 bus conversion bridge card. We use the EZ-USB FX2 chip, which is produced by Cypress Co., to be the controller of the bridge card. We use the DSC cards to generate fairway signal and the SDC cards to do data acquisition. The central control computer can produce the user interface to build several target fairways, control the testing process, analyze the acquired data, and complete the accurate testing calculation dynamically.
