For early widely-used steel deck-concrete composite slabs, they have many shortcomings such as unevenness under the slabs, not so-good shape and high cost suspended ceiling, thus, based on their research, people develop new closed profiled steel sheeting-concrete composite slabs. This kind of slab is recognized for its superior behavior. Its use in engineering examples has reached several millions square meter in our country by now, manufacturers also appear gradually. With many manufacturers competing drastically, closed profiled sheeting-concrete composite slabs are replacing early open steel deck-concrete composites.Performances of composite slabs are influenced by a large number of parameters. In order to investigate influence of every parameter on performance of composite slabs, experimentation with different parameters must be carried out. And this experimentation especially full-scale experimentation of composite slabs has numerous parameters and requires large numbers of labor force. Finite element method can adjust value of every parameter during analysis and analyze influence of change of parameter, which can also achieve aim. So it is necessary to use finite element method to analyze closed profiled steel deck-concrete composite slabs. As finite element software, ANSYS is used to analyze bending performance of closed profiled steel deck-concrete composite slabs in this paper. Two main jobs are showed as follows:Firstly, solid element SOLID65 and SHELL63 are adopted to describe characteristic of the concrete and steel separately, using Drucker-Prager model and ideal elasticity-plasticity model to describe constitutive relations of constrained concrete and closed profiled steel deck separately, then coupling them together through CONTA174 and TARGE170 elements, eventually a closed solution pattern is attained.Secondly, closed profiled sheeting-concrete composite slabs produced by the Central Research Institute of Building and Construction, MCC Group are regarded as the research object. Changing the value of several parameters such as steel...
