The21st century will be the critical period of the strategy of building a moderatelyprosperous society, with the further acceleration of China’s urban and rural construction, theresidential building will be rapidly developed. The steel structure more in line withsustainable development strategy requirements and environmentalrequirements, because itcan reuse, fast construction, etc.. With the current situation, quite a lot of research havefocused on the profiled sheeting concrete composite slabs in foreign countries. In recentyears, the level of design and construction has been greatly improved, which is moresuitable for promotion in high-rise steel structure house.Composite slabs application inEurope, America, Japan and other countries has been relatively mature, and in China, theyare being used more and more.Shear failure along the horizontal direction is one of themajor damage form of the composite slab, and therefore our project began to give moreconsideration to the combined effects of composite slab.In order to ensure concrete andprofiled sheeting work together, engineering is starting to focus on shear-bond behavior ofcomposite slabs. In this paper, we carry out two groups test (i.e. open type and closed type compositeslabs). We also study the mechanical properties of the board under the influence ofdifferent factors, such as the shear span, steel thickness, studs, concrete thickness.Wedescribe the failure modes of the specimens in the test, analysis the shear-bond behavior ofcomposite slabs, and obtained the formulas suitable for engineering applications. Based onviews on shear capacity formula of composite slabs based on the existing research.Wemake numerical simulation on the composite slabs by using the finite elementmethod(FEM), analysis the shear-bond behavior of composite slabs in the theoretical case, and compared with experimental values.
