With the rapid development of railway transportation, the research and application of the train monitoring system has become an important topic in the field of railway transportation. The study of this problem is significant both theoretically and practically, especially during the day when train acceleration is in the implementation.Firstly, the paper briefly states the current development of railway monitoring system both in domestic and abroad. Then, it addresses the necessity and practical meaning of the statement of the system.This paper presents a process of a"Train Integrality monitoring system", include hardware design and software development of each module. In the first part, the design of schematics and also PCB layout of this system, which is based on ARM7 microprocessor ( S3C44B0X from Samsung Corp) are finished. This system consists of mass extension memory, SDRAM, LCD display and UART, etc. As for the software running on this board, the paper provide the course of software design from the system angle, such as acceleration collecting,GPS'information collecting,LCD display,UART communication and communication protocol between the head of and the tail of train, and so on, are written within the ADS1.2 by means of the module designing thought.The paper mainly discusses the system requirement analysis and resolving scheme. This study focuses on detailed developing process of all parts, pivotal technique.
