Automatic Meter Reading System Base On Complex Structure Design

Data traffic solution and structure of Automatic Reading Meter System were comprehensively analysed, compared and summarized according to managed system and reality, and then a suitable Auto-registered system solution for practicable application were brought forward.In this solution, data were collected using 485 bus in bottom, data were influxed to the power control center from scatter to convergence to form more to one junction structure through power carrier wave and GSM/GPRS in top star type correspondence system. The whole solution were discussed in details, as following,Firstly,the exiting system and its advantage and disadvantage were discussed, and then the new Automatic Reading Meter System introduced, feasibility and superiority proved.Secondly, the data collection and transmission using reliable 485 bus in terms of character of one house one meter were described. The design and theory of electric energy meter, especially the examination of correspondence and solution were introduced, and the hardware design and code of programmer were attached.Thirdly,the character and realization of electric power carrier wave in star type correspondence system. were described in detail. In this paper, PLCi36C were used as electric power carrier wave chip, PIC16F76 as main control chip, and the correspondence design method and formula were listed.Fourthly,collection machine in star type correspondence system were discussed in theory and design method. Sony-Ericsson GR47 were used as GSM/GPRS module for wireless communication, and microchip PIC18F452 as MCU for data traffic control. The solutions were analysed in application, and the junction of GPRS wireless data traffic and fixed IP communication were used according to the character.
