| The smart grid,which is characterized by information and interaction,is a new direction of the development of electric power industry.It can supply electricity automatically and reasonably based on the analysis of the current situation so as to achieving the purpose of saving resources.In addition,it can provide good value-added services to power users.As a part of the smart grid,meter reading system offers original meter data forformulating power policies and achieving value-added services.The article focuses on the analysis of the research and development of the meter reading system in the context of the smart grid.Through analysis and comparison of the existing system and the actual situation,it discovers the exiting problems and designs a automatical meter reading system after the demand analysis that is used to read electric quantity data of charging laboratories distributed in different regions of the university.The system is based on the existing wireless network and use WiFi or GPRS to send data to the data collection platform.In addition,the system has also increased the electricity management functions to achieve intelligent control and information sharing.The main work of the article is as follows:Firstly,it analyses the system requirements and designsthe system architecture.The whole system is made up of three parts,includingelectric energy acquisition terminals,data collection platform and power management.The function of each part is different.The electric energy acquisition terminalscan send data to the data collection platformthrough WiFi or GPRS.The data collection platform can not only store data,but also process and analysis data.The power management is to achieve reminding the users to payment timely,power outage management function and recharging function.Secondly,the design on hardware and software is carried out about the electric energy acquisition terminals,data collection platform and electric management.The electric energy acquisition terminals can send data by WiFi and GPRS based on Core1081 and sim900 a.The data collection platform is built on a server whose operating system is linux.The MySQL database and server applications are running on the platform.The power management functions are achieved byconnecting the database and analyzing or changing the data in the database.Finally,the electric energy collection terminals,data collection platform and the power management function are tested,and the test indicates thateach part can finish their own function.Then it tests the whole system and the testindicates thatdifferent parts can communicate smoothlyand these parts can complete the system function when the system is running. |
