Water is source of life and material base of human being survival and developing. But, in short-supplied area of water resource, the pair of mutually contradictious problems, including water trouble of being short and water disaster of being more, is perplexing people at the same time.The excavating to the potential of reservoir operation is exactly the most main way of changing water disaster to water conservancy and making use of flood resource.The text has studied the most excellent selection of optimal schemes of reservoir operation in Short-supplied area, with the example of Dong Ping-Lake reservoir. Including,(1) Connect the characteristic of short-supplied area of water resource, make out four targets including flood protection, water supply, environment, society, give out different evaluation indexes, and build the multipurpose overall evaluations hierarchical structure model.(2) From down to up, build the multipurpose developing plan model and come into being not-bad schemes.(3) Adopt analytic hierarchy process to analysis and determine the weight of evaluation indexes, then use the balanced assessment model to calculate, to sort and optimize not-bad schemes.(4) Analyze the old lake area of Dong Ping-Lake reservoir, calculate the evaluation indexes of different water level, and inquire comprehensive benefits. Through contrasting comprehensive benefits, select water level operation plans of reservior.
