Condition-based maintenance is a very popular method in equipment maintenance field worldwide. Lately, waterpower has won more and more proportion in the power generation industry, and hydro-generator unit is the most importance part of waterpower, so it is very valuable to monitor the state by vibration of hydro-generator unit.The dissertation researches and develops vibration monitoring device of hydro-generator unit based on YL9200 exploration board. The platform has replanted by embedded operation system of Linux, and the GUI has been developed by MiniGUI for Linux. The embedded platform received the data from singlechip by Ethernet communication which conformed to the Modbus/TCP protocol, these data was processed by FFT-change of 512 point for frequency analysis. The program based on MiniGUI can realize the display of wave including vibration scope and dynamic waves in the time-field and frequency chart. The device will be connected to LAN in the near future, which can build up remote diagnose system. So the thesis has done some researches on the method of computer remote diagnosis system.In a word, author have researched and developed the key technology of vibration monitoring device, and accomplished some scheduled functions, which can be foundation for later development.
