Ports, especially large hub ports, play an important role in connecting the domestic market with the foreign ones. During the whole process of global logistics, ports are where a new transportation tool takes over a former one, thus, it is irreplaceable. With the development of ports, the construction of logistics parks becomes a must. They not only work as a buffer area for cargo gather, but also as a center for cargo distribution. However, the interaction between ports and logistics parks is far from enough, considering the fact of Shanghai, Shenzhen and Dalian ports. The main reason which brought about this fact is, in order to guarantee the Customs supervision, time suffers. Thus, the function of the interaction between ports and logistics parks can not be given full play. Also, since ports and bonded logistics parks are affiliated to different Customs supervision area, the operation of cargo transfer and Customs declaration is also time-consuming according to the transfer method the Customs normally adopts. As a result, many cargo owners choose to go through such free trading ports as Hongkong, Kaohsiung and Busan to realize Customs transfer, which causes the economic loss of the ports in the mainland China. In order to solve the problem of disintegration between ports and logistics parks, we have to establish a safe procedure to go through the Customs and a corresponding management system. Up till now, the only method we can take is to adopt an information system and improve the soft environment of the interaction between ports and logistics parks. This thesis systematically analyses the present status of interaction between the ports and logistics parks in China and meanwhile, combining the construction of information management system in Nansha Bonded Logistics Center, Guangzhou, it argues the feasibility and necessity of implementing information system to improve the interaction between ports and logistics parks. So, this thesis provides much reference to the construction and planning of the Bonded Ports in Shanghai, Tianjin and Dalian.
