The Research And Development Of Monitoring And Data-Analysis System For Power Palnt Based On Windows CE.NET

As an emerging monitoring and control system, the embedded system has being paid highly attention to in various fields. Considering the narrow space, uncomfortable working circumstance and highly security of the ship, it has been a trend to replace traditional monitoring and control system such as the system of PLC, industry computer and even Single Chip Micyoco with embedded system, which will be more and more applied to the naval and ocean field.The research of this paper came from a project of an land forces in Jinan. The purpose is to realize the informational organization and management and set up a data chain of arming safeguard activity for a warship, so that the technical management for the warship can be improved. So the author developed a monitoring and data-analysis system for power plant based on Windows CE.NET. The system can collect information, deal with the data stream and analysis the data of the main power plant.Thermal parameters of the power plant in the ship have much valuable information of engine faults. The monitoring and data-analysis system take advantage of these parameters. What's more, as embedded system has the specialties of small volume, highly reliability, suitable price, which are what the traditional monitoring and control system lacks, it will improve the system very much. The new system also has an advantage that the operation staff is easy to understand the monitoring process and data analyzing result concerning the education diversity and frequent mobility of the staff.The whole system operated on Advantech ADAM-4018+I/O module and the UNO-2050 embedded controller. Upon this structure, the system is developed mainly by Windows CE.NET 4.2 and Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2003. As to the data analysis, the AR algorithm based on time series method has given the forecast of system reliability, which has technically proved the feasibility and superiority of the data analysis system for power plant using such data mining technology.
