Discussion On The Artistic Education Of China Architectural Education In The Open Circumstance

Architecture has two characters, one is technological, the other is artistic. The technology changes the working content and form of architect, but can't change the hard core of architecture——as the art. Nowadays, Chinese architectural education phases out into the whole-orientation opening teaching system following the progress of the national regime and economic policy. Architectural education and the artistic theory are concussed by things like the construction technique and culture from the western, communication and cooperation with foreign colleges. In the situation that all the staff make great efforts to establish the open teaching system, we need to think about the art item of the architectural education in system, content, method and etc.Contemporary artistic education faces many challenges, such as the new art styles, the new educational instruments and the new requirement to the architectural education and so on. In this paper, the author compartmentalizes the artistic education to three contents considering the character of the architecture and the purpose of education. One is training of the aesthetic faculties, another is improving of the creative faculties, the last is developing the national and social culture. In the analysis part of the paper, the first step focuses on the artistic and literary circumstances of the whole society. Then, the author compared the artistic education's principles, contents and methods of different colleges in the second step. The last step is the about growing and works analysis of the famous architects.Based on the analysis, the author concluded the preferable principles and methods of the artistic education in architecture and tried to bring forward a series of compositive courses on artistic education.
