Presently, the key problem of boiler control is to implement effective control on combustion system. How to keep the main steam pressure with better dynamic characteristic and keep the fuel entered the boiler burning thoroughly is the most important to combustion system control.Based on the theory of Dynamic Matrix Control and Fuzzy Sets, and the analysis of the present situation of boiler control, a new fuzzy predictive control algorithm has been developed and used in a combustion system of industrial boiler. The efficiency of combustion has been enhanced by using fuzzy self-optimization for blast-coal ration. It has been proved that this method can obtain good regulating quality, enhance combustion efficiency and realize energy-saving. The combustion system of industrial boiler that has three inputs and three outputs can be predigested as a new system with two inputs and two outputs. The results from the experiment investigation suggest that this method has good response time,super sensitivity, steady state time and small steady state error.Simulation software has been developed by using structuralized programming method. The acts access two or more streams of data from distinct storage units. The result of simulating test shows good adaptability and strong robustness of the project. The boiler combustion system simulation absorb the idea of analogue computer modularization programming and apply it to the programming of digital control system, thus it has the advantage of good real-time performance and high precision. In addition, some characters of robustness and astringency of adaptive system is researched in the paper. Many simulation results have demonstrated that the controllers can be realized the control for boiler combustion and overcome to some extent the disadvantages of conventional algorithms. These results provide helpful experimental support for the situ realization of the two types of controllers, likewise, the realization of the communication between two computers offers reliable hardware guarantee for safe arid effective operation of the control system.
