The Study On The Application Of The PLC Technology In The Communication Automation Of The Electric Power Distribution Networks

In order to satisfy the demand of improving the security of power distribution network in a city, shortening the time of repairing the devices in a fault circuit, offering active service instead of passive service. Power factories are trying their best to develop the practical operation of the automatic technology of the power distribution system. In the construction of the power distribution automatic system, the method of communication is the basement of processing the technology. With the development of the communication technology, so how to chose the proper communication channel come to the first place. This paper verifies the feasibility of using the middle–voltage Power Line Communication (PLC) technology in the power distribution automatic system. Through this paper, using the middle–voltage PLC technology can provide a more useful mode of achieving an effective communication channel.
