City traffic is the link of the urban economy and social function, it is a carrier of the city persons and items space movement. For a city its significance value and impact is far more than any of the cities which have a functional block performance of the significance. Traffic information collection for the whole of intelligent traffic is of great significance. And transport information accurately or not have great relationship with traffic detection technology. The more traffic detection technology advancer, the more accurate information is collected, the easier a high level of intelligent application traffic it will be.In the building process of the traffic data collection platform, it has certain theoretical basis in the establishment of the overall framework and the logic system; all those have relationship with People actual demand, and have its own objectivity. The most important in this system is technology Implementation, to truly universal and the most critical is the cost of the system. As an example, Changchun, in Jilin Province, according to incomplete statistics, in all city's taxi, only a very small number of which have installed the GPS global satellite positioning system. GPS technology is not so bad, but it cost too high for taxis for the GPS system, so the reason just gives great an impact on his popularity. Solving the problem of vastly different technical methods make traffic data collection platform that showing contending for the position. Currently, both C/S.B/S or grid-based, GPS/GMS achieve or various traffic data collection platform has not solved all problems. We need an accurate, low-cost, easy method to promote the system to meet the actual demand.City taxi traffic information collection platform is to using automatic vehicle identification technology, and through major intersections in urban areas and important points to installing roadside unit (RSU, referring to the system of RFID reader) and taxi windscreen of the vehicle installed units (OBU, referring to the RFID cards) to mutual communication and exchange information which in order to achieve the automatic vehicle identification. And we use intermediate network to collect roadside units'information of the taxi location and flow these information transmit to urban traffic control center. The control centers use radio to guide and deploy the city taxi, all of those things will ultimately achieve ease urban traffic, reduce empty taxi operations and improve taxi receipt's ultimate goal.With the other identification systems, the RFID system has many advantages, and Compared with the old IC techniques, the RFID card avoid a lot of IC card shortcomings, such as easy to wear and easy to damage, such as the insertion time. And comparing with the relatively small number of current mature than biometric identification technology, the RFID has high speed, non-contact non-polluting, recognition rates higher outstanding advantages.We build an intelligent transport system based on RFID city taxi traffic information collection platform. We introduce the composition and work principles of the RFID systems, and analysis used often some of the key technology of the RFID system. We also introduce a wireless radio-frequency RFID technology in principle and the use in intelligent transport system. We give the application details on the RFID data transmission security, integrity and anti-collision algorithm. We have researched the modular approach of RFID system. All this establish a theoretical foundation on the traffic information collection platform framework. We have designed the system hardware, which including the roadside unit 1 (Reading unit), truck unit (RF cards), roadside unit 2 (GSM SMS TX), traffic command center. In this paper we have designed mainly the RFID reader technology C8051F000 microcontroller and TR1000,RF card AT5110 hire information which gathering the data transceiver. We have designed the main software platform process, which including a system to read data communications interruptions process, RF reader with the card data transmission between the communication process, GSM SMS Transceiver Module with the traffic flow communication between the command center. With all the above we give the taxi vehicle identification RFID system programs, in which RFID as a core we design urban taxi traffic information collection platform.
