Loader is one of the most useful engineering machinery. It is mainly used for spading,transporting or unloading bulk material. If the loader is equipped with some appropriate devices,it can also be used for digging, lifting and loading something: such as wood and steel pipe. Consequently,it is widely used in construction,mining,railway, highway,ports,farming,defense project and some other industry.The loader can reduce labor intensity and speed up to finish the project. It also played an important role in improving the quality of the project. So kinds of loader is developed very fast, whether in China or some other countries. Loader occupied an important position in engineering machinery.Torque converter is one of the most important part in loader.It has limitless capacity for change velocity;it can make the vehicle start smoothly and accelerate rapidly;it can give the vehicle a good damping capability.So it can extend the life of drive system and improve seat's cosiness capacity; when the vehicle lose its speed,the maximum torque not only can prevent engine flameout but also can speed up the vehicle.So the performance of torque converter of the vehicle played a crucial role in loader's dynamical capacity.This paper is one of my teacher's task—loader's energy-saving technologies. We take loader's drive system of 50 type as our research object. We analysed the change of torque converter, when the loader is high-speed racing or shoveling.We use MATLAB to show the heat produced by the efficiency loss.We also show the relationship between the heat and the lost efficiency.(1)According to the data of characteristic of loader's engine,we used MATLAB to draw the characteristic curve.(2)According to the data of original of torque converter, we used MATLAB to draw the original curve.(3)After we analyzed common capability of the engine and torque converter, we used MATLAB to draw the common characteristic curve.Then we draw the tow characteristic curve of this loader(4)According to temperature data of loader's experimentation about high speed running,shoveling, pushing, we used MATLAB to draw the drive radiator's temperature curve and torque converter instantaneous work efficiency curve. And then we discussed this curve.(5)We selected a work cycle of high-speed running, shoveling, digging as research object. We analyzed the heat capability of the torque converter. According to the variety of the loader's velocity and load capability, we found out torque converter efficient point, figure out the heat produced by the lost work efficiency. According to experimentation data, we figure out the heat produced by the drive radiator and torque converter.We compare relation of the produce heat and the lost heat. We analyzed the transmission heat capability of drive radiator.In this paper, we improve the transmission heat capability of drive radiator. The designer of the loader can use these results to improve the work capability of the loader .
