Transform with the fact that the enormous in Chinese society modernized process, social association is transforming from a rigid circle base on birth, region, profession into an organic circle base on requirement as a independence person. Reflected on the urban space, more optional collective space as one kind of extension of urban public space provides the place for communication or amusements. Commercial Huisuo is an association for resource sharing and cultural exchange is a collective space under modern context which gather by consumption, entertainment and social intercourse.Commercial Huisuo is the form of commercial private club develops in China. Influence by the factor on society, economy, culture, commercial Huisuo's development is a process of membership club's localization on members' character, operation and so on. In The last eighties and early nineties last century, golf club and business private club bring into China; it's the beginning of commercial Huisuo's localization on both operation method and substance space. When some kinds of traditional service industry and some residential district club innovation their operation, they choose the model of membership club. Then they adjust the client base, the way of organization and other aspect of operation to fit the local market. Commercial Huisuo's the client base has expand from top class to middle class. Brick the closed state in the early development, open more to society. After this localization, it has become into a kind of urban collective space.Base on the research of function, character of commercial Huisuo, compare commercial Huisuo with 4 collective spaces in different period. Then analysis the factor on society, economy, culture which influence the location of commercial Huisuo, and research under these aspects how commercial Huisuo developed in China. Through all these research, point that through localization, commercial Huisuo has become in to a kind of urban collective space, though offer space, facilities, and activities to promote communication, culture exchange and resource sharing. It's the extension of urban public space.
