This topic designed a testing system with sensor technology and computer technology on the basis of virtual instrument technology. The project mainly carries on all kinds of tests on motor cooling water pump, completes device control, parameter test, data acquisition and processing, as well as graph drawing and error analysis.This article elaborated the entire process of hardware construction on motor cooling water pump's testing system, uses open test-bed to research the system's structural design, sets up the arrangement and installment of the pipeline, discusses the theory of testing and methods of measurement about parameters, such as flux, pressure, axial power and so on, and motor's electrical parameters, for example current, voltage etc. The paper provides the method of Inductive Winding to measure asynchronous AC motor's rotational speed, extracts the basic frequency of useful signal based on FFT spectrum arithmetic, carries on analysis and processing to the actual output signal. By using DAQ card and Lab VIEW tool, we can calculate the parameters and plot the performance curve etc. In addition, the system errors are analysed.Through the studies in the paper, especially the aspects of measurements of rotational speed and the data acquisition and processing, can produce important practical significance to the testing system on motor cooling water pump, which develops the intellectualization, integration and multi-function of the system.
