Research Study On The Animation Technology In Machine Drawing

Machine drawing is a major course for majors of mechanical engineering. It studies the realization process, and the viewing principles of the information of mechanical products and the drawing and viewing process of mechanical designs. Majors of mechanical engineering should master the knowledge of machine drawing for it is not only the information carrier of engineering and products but also a language through which design strategy and technical communications are carried out and also an important technical document for the engineering department.At present, beside the traditional teaching methods of computer aided drawing, chalk drawing, model demonstration, map hanging, and spot-direction, most of the institutes have applied multi-media and computer network in their teaching which has greatly intensified the learning interests of the students and improved the teaching qualities through concrete and vivid CAI courseware.The thesis focuses on the relevant issues of the application of computer aided teaching in the course of Machine drawing which mainly conducts the class presentation by the integration of words, images, sounds and animation through e-writing, process simulation, man-machine interaction and intelligent tutoring.The thesis also probes into the application of the computer animation technology in the teaching of Machine drawing. Animation functions to transform the abstract theories into simple animated images. The realization of projection theory, the formation of three-view drawing, and the sectioning methods of cutaway view drawing are presented with detailed and concrete examples. The application of computer animation technology can expand the thinking mould of the students and improve the teaching qualities together with the combination of practice and textbooks.In our teaching practice, modern teaching methods and tools have become great approaches which help the students to understand and master the basic knowledge related to the course through vivid and direct images.
