英文摘要内容(Times New Roman小四)Enjoying a long history, Wuhan is located in the northern subtropic monsoon climate zone and has excellent natural conditions for agriculture. The Jiufeng Forest Preserve District of Wuhan lies in the east suburbs of Wuhan. The villages around Jiufeng Mountain are situated in the transitional area①[1] between the city and countryside. Therefore, the villagers maintain the productive and life style similar to other country people, and at the same time, are influenced by urban economy and culture. In this special area, these suburban villages develop into a special spacial environment.At present, many villages are being renovated or rebuilt in accordance with the plan of relevant departments of the government. In some cases, the whole village is moved. However, all this work has been carried out blindly to some degree. Not only has the former layout of environmental space in these villages been broken, the productive and life style, as well as the communication mode of the residents have been changed dramatically, which has a negative effect on people's psychology and is ruinous to quiet, peaceful and color village life. This unique life style of suburban villages are gradually disappearing in this renovation. Lacking understanding of the unique village environment of suburban villages and the traditional communication mode of these villagers is one of the factors that causes blind renovation.The outdoor spaces of the village, including yards, drying yards roads, paths and ponds, constitute the spacial layout of the village. These outdoor spaces are referred to as"communication space"in this paper. From the point of view of the outdoor spacial environment, and based on the theories in Communication and Space and Environmental Psychology , the author makes a study on the spacial environment of the villages in Jiufeng mountainous area of Wuhan with a special focus on people's communication psychology and communication mode.It is found that:1. there are mainly three communication modes which result in ten spacial styles.2. communication spaces are related to people's activities in their production, living, entertainment and residence. communication spaces are closely related to villagers'everyday life. People integrate these spaces into their life by renovating the unoccupied fields, drying yards, public ponds, brooks, roads and paths in the spacial environment around their houses.
