Three-axis motion simulator is one of the most important devices for real-time hardware-in-loop simulation of flight control systems. The performance of simulator directly influences reliability. It is the foundation for guaranteeing aeronautic and astronautic product, and precision and performance of weapon system. Therefore, research and manufacture of three-axis motion simulator is crucial to aeronautic and astronautic industry, and defense building.This research focuses on structure design and dynamic analysis of three-axis motion simulator. This research firstly studies the dynamic design process and method for mechanical structure, computing method of main load, which includes inertial load, frictional load, gravity load", and load synthesis. And then selective criteria and method for drive devices and drive manner are studied, in which, hydraulic drive is compared with electrical drive, direct drive is compared with indirect drive, comparison is made among DC servo motor, AC servo motor, DC torque motor and Synchronous motor, and selective method is presented. It is described for mechanical structure of simulator and methods of design and process to guarantee performance of simulator.The facts influencing simulating precision are studied, which include pointing error, rate stability error, amplitude phase error. According to the conclusion of error analysis, four considerations are presented for design, manufacture and assemble of simulator.Three-dimensional solid model of simulator is created and motional simulating is implemented by using CATIA. It illustrates that there is no intervene and motional performance is fine. In addition, dynamic equation of simulator is proposed and dynamic simulating is implemented by using ADAMS, in which this research mainly simulating output torque of motor. Finally, this research theoretically analyzes dynamic coupling effect of simulator, simulates the dynamic coupling effect with ADAMS, compares simulating results with computing results and results selected from factual design, and puts forward advice for optimizing design.
