In modern logistic warehouse's system, automatic high-rise warehouse was widely applied. The features of stacker crane were the key point to the function of the high-rise warehouse. According to the national existing current economic condition, to study one kind of great tonnage stacker control system which cost inexpensive and moved stable was useful to some small or medium enterprises whose aim was investing less while profiting lots. This paper introduced the design of stacker crane control system.Based on the parameter related the high-rise warehouse, this paper presented the hardware system of stacker electrical control, including system structure drawing, the stacker control mode, the infrared signaling way and recognize the site way the choice. In particular S300 and S200 coordinate use, caused the entire stacker the control namely to satisfy the design request in the performance, also conformed low cost of construction requirement to the enterprise.The paper had carried on the elaboration and the analysis emphatically to the existing AC velocity modulation system control plan. The drive way of the motor was confirmed. And according to it, some security safeguards were adopted. In need of the control to the velocity of the stacker crane, the particular vector control technology was applied, realizing the stacker crane's smooth starting, eliminating the mechanical impulse, and also protecting the motor itself. At the same time, using the vector frequency conversion in velocity modulation technology in the key control solved the pinpointing question regarding great tonnage, low speed movement stacker.The paper stated the software design of the stacker crane, including the choice of the transducer type, the enactment and the debugging of the parameters, the choice of the PLC type and the programming. Used the existing popular field bus PROFIBUS main line technology was a very good solution to the data transmission question. The programming language was willfully selected, which was using the Step7 programming software and conveniently for the field engineering. At the same time, the S7-PLCSIM simulation software in the situation which the PLC hardware connects, carried on the function test to user's block, this point also increased in the success rate of the project scene debugging.The researching production was experimented and debugged practically. The stacker worked stable and efficiently. It had achieved the anticipated controlling targets.
