The thesis implements a kind of station control system (SCS) which is applied in the Automatic Train Control (ATC) system for the Maglev Train. Both theoretical design and implement method are mentioned in the thesis. The station control system is a kind of fault-safety system, which is designed as double 2-vote-2 fault tolerance architecture. The control part is implemented with two redundant CPU, and either of them works synchronously, checks the result from the other processing channel. The double 2-vote-2 design makes a promotion for the fault tolerance and fault diagnosis ability of the system. The logic part is implemented with two redundant CPLD which provides the logical function for each processing channel. The two CPLD communicated with each other to share the data and signals. The synchronization and compare-vote function is implemented by the two CPLD. The communication part is implemented with two redundant serial ports. The two redundant communication channels are double 2-vote-2 designed.When fault or problem occurs, the power supply channel to the field equipment will be shut down. A kind of safe relay is applied as the switch of the power supply channel.The design for the synchronous redundant CPU is the key point. The synchronization is so important that the double 2-vote-2 design will fail without it. Hardware logic design and software program design are applied to implement the synchronization. The synchronization is efficient to control the common mode fault. However, the time difference of the synchronous system should be detected.With the development of Maglev train and railway signal system, the automatic train control system will be more and more intelligent, and there is no doubt the safety and reliability of the SCS system will be improved. So does the ATC system. The fault-safety theory will be applied more and more comprehensively.
