| Airflow organization of ventilation and air-conditioning has important influence on air environment and indoor air quality. Reasonable airflow organization in a ship cabin will improve air quality; reduce contamination percentage to ensure that the ship's crew continues to operate at high level of effectiveness and efficiency for long periods. The simulation and analysis of airflow organization are of great important during the design stage of ventilation and air-conditioning system.A living cabin was taken as a model to do simulation analysis on the effect of different airflow organizations. On basis of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) theory and methodology, the temperature fields and velocity fields under different airflow organization were gotten by means of CFD software (Fluent). Furthermore, a general evaluating method was proposed to analyze and compare the simulation results, and then the best airflow organization was gotten to meet the needs of the narrowness and lowness of the ship cabins. All of these will be very helpful for the air-conditioning design of the ship cabin. The following research works were carried out also:According to the criterion of 'Air-conditioning and ventilation of accommodation spaces on board ships-Design parameter and method of calculations', the ventilated parameters were gotten; and five airflow organizations were designed based on the particularity of the ship living cabin.The air movement was analyzed by interrelated theories; the physical models were properly predigested, and the accurate mathematics model was set up. The three-dimensional models of the whole cabin are constructed by use of the software platforms of Auto CAD; the mesh files were gotten by using the software of Gambit; the simulation results of five airflow organizations were gotten by using the software platforms of Fluent; at last, the two-dimensional visual figures of the temperature fields and velocity fields were gotten.According to the design requirement of comfortable air-conditioning, the general evaluating method for ship cabin was set up; all airflow organizations were analyzed and evaluated by using the method; at last, the best airflow organizations for the ship cabin were gotten.In this paper, the simulating method and steps of the ship living cabin were proposed by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) theory and methodology. The calculating and selecting of the parameters were analyzed, Parameter formulas and selecting ways were given that can be used by the engineering design. The evaluating method for the ship cabin was put forward. All the research works in this paper will be helpful for the further design and the research works of ventilation and air-conditioning system of the ship cabin. |
