The inertial technology has very important station in national defenses science. It is the pivotal technology in modern high-tech weapon. The inertial equipment which is delegated by accelerometers, especially the multi-accelerometers gyro-free strap down inertial guiding system, is used widely in the flying parameter testing systems of general weapons. Along with the development of inertial technology, the request for testing precision of the accelerometer in inertial equipment is more and more strict. This design is going to set up an experiment system for testing the transverse output characteristic of accelerometers which are commonly used in weapon equipment in the rotary rotation state. This experiment system provides the experiment gist for bringing forward a reasonable and efficiency compensating method relatively, finally achieves the purpose of reducing the effect of accelerometers transverse output to the testing result, and improves the testing precision of inertial equipment.In allusion to the designing part of experiment system which is used for testing the transverse output characteristic of accelerometers, the paper introduces the manufacture of high-g value centrifugal machine in the experiment system firstly. The high precision movement control of electromotor in centrifugal machine is the key element of ensuring the testing precision with this experiment system. Finally the paper fixes on the realization of revolving speed controlling to the electromotor with the Tiro Euro205X moving control card through the comparing of different control mode of electric machine, introduces the use of Tiro Euro205X, and how to set the parameters of control card according to PID control theory. Besides, the paper carries out the study on two kinds of intelligent PID controller, and put up the simulation with MATLAB. The simulation result proves that the FCMAC-PID controller and new-type fuzzy controller both have better control precision and self-adapting characteristic.In the study of transverse output characteristic of accelerometers, this paper theoretically analyzes the reasons of producing transverse sensitivity in piezoelectric, silicon micro capacity and piezoresistive accelerometers. It also carries out the testing of output linearity, the rolling experiment in simulating gravity field and the testing of transverse sensitivity for the IC Sensors Model 3031 accelerometer with the experiment system of transverse output characteristic in rotation state. The experiment result indicates that the transverse sensitivity of 3031 accelerometer is independent with the transverse acceleration when it gets low frequency transverse acceleration, and that it is related with the direction of transverse acceleration. In the plane which plumbs the principal axis direction of accelerometers, the transverse sensitivity is distributed with the figure"8".
